ReplyDeleteFeeling Sorry For Celia & the Guernsey Society, etc. are both great! I love all of Jacyln Moriarty's books. :)
ReplyDeleteThe Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society and The Earth Hums in B Flat are both favourites of mine!
ReplyDeleteI've not been buying much books lately either but the other day I was at a homeschool convention and found myself in this lovely stall full of old, used books. Needless to say, my fast on book-buying ended. =D
Hm, I suppose that should be "I've not been buying many books lately..." Ah, well. :P
ReplyDeleteGreat Mailbox. Really enjoyed the Secret Circle series. Hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading

i love the secret circle series! it's my absolute favorite series by the amazing l.j. smith. :) i have it in the original form of three books, very old. lol i heard that it may become a tv series, like the vampire diaries.
ReplyDelete@Kendall
ReplyDeleteI love Jaclyn Moriarty too! I was so glad to see this book at the store, I snatched it up right away!
@Melee
I've heard so many good things about Guernsey, I am quite excited to read it this summer. Also, I've never been able to resist a used book store if I had the time to stop in it. It's hard to not buy many books. Really hard.
@A Beautiful Madness
I just finished it! I loved it. I was quite surprised as paranormal YA is usually not my cup of tea. Will review soon!
@Valerie
I was quite surprised at how much I loved The Secret Circle (I finished the whole series in about 4 days). they are making a series out of it, I have seen some pictures and clips, but it looks VERY different, so I don't know...maybe the best would be to approach it as if it wasn't based on anything.
