In My Mailbox (8)

In My Maibox (or IMM) is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren. It enables bloggers to mention the books they have acquired during the week. Read more about it HERE.

These are the first books I bought in over a month. I've been very good!

  3. The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society and The Earth Hums in B Flat are both favourites of mine!

    I've not been buying much books lately either but the other day I was at a homeschool convention and found myself in this lovely stall full of old, used books. Needless to say, my fast on book-buying ended. =D

    I love Jaclyn Moriarty too! I was so glad to see this book at the store, I snatched it up right away!

    I've heard so many good things about Guernsey, I am quite excited to read it this summer. Also, I've never been able to resist a used book store if I had the time to stop in it. It's hard to not buy many books. Really hard.

    @A Beautiful Madness
    I just finished it! I loved it. I was quite surprised as paranormal YA is usually not my cup of tea. Will review soon!

    @Valerie
    I was quite surprised at how much I loved The Secret Circle (I finished the whole series in about 4 days). they are making a series out of it, I have seen some pictures and clips, but it looks VERY different, so I don't know...maybe the best would be to approach it as if it wasn't based on anything.
